Asbury Arms is a premier apartment complex offering low cost housing for the elderly. Located on Dixon Boulevard in Cocoa, it provides 150 one-bedroom and efficiency apartments in a loving atmosphere for those of limited income. Planned recreation activities are provided in the Fellowship Hall and throughout the community. The facility began as the dream of Dr. Mary Cathryne Park who presented the idea to the Administrative Board of the First United Methodist Church, Cocoa. The church has been in this ministry for over 28 years. Construction of a $2.8 million, 50 unit addition immediately to the north of the first facility began in April 1999 and was occupied in early 2000. |
