Sunday School
We offer three Adult Sunday School options:

  • Adult Fellowship (10:00 a.m.): This lecture format class is a Bible study following the International Lesson Series and meets in the room labeled “Adult Fellowship.”
  • Searchers (10:00 a.m.): This Bible study group meets in the Parlor.
  • Voyagers (9:30 a.m.):  This group designed for younger adults (all ages are welcome) typically incorporates video and discussion on Biblical or Christian themes.  They meet in the room labeled “Voyagers.”

Bible Studies
Tuesday, 2:00 p.m.  (church parlor)
“A Disciple’s Path.”  This study explores what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and part of the Church of Jesus Christ..
Friday 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. (church office)
This informal group meets in a casual setting to read through sections of the Bible together and discussion.

Spiritual Direction and Pastoral Care Ministry
We have a certified Spiritual Director, Joanne Lum, who will come along side you in your faith journey and help you hear the voice of God in your life. There is no charge, and the number a frequency of sessions is up to you. Contact Joanne (321-427-0210) for more information. Of course, our pastor is always is available to offer pastoral care in times of crisis (321-794-0010).

Thrift Store
Our church offers an excellent thrift store, called The Shepherd’s Closet to provide quality clothes, household items, and furniture at a reasonable cost. The store is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. To make donations, bring them any time during those hours. Call the store manager, Linda Van Riper, or the church office for information.

Food Pantry
Our congregation provide food baskets to needy folks in our area through our Food Pantry (called “Lila’s Pantry”). Food is distributed every other Friday (contact the church office at 321-636-4811 for exact dates), from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Participants must register, and can do so during distributions. Please bring ID with you. While not required for receiving food, we also invite participants to arrive early (9:45 a.m.) and join in our 10 minute “Church in the Hallway” worship time, where we sing, read some scripture, and pray for one another.

United Methodist Women
The women of our church gather on the second Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. for the general meeting of United Methodist Women, where they enjoy a program, brief business meeting and fellowship luncheon. Smaller circles also meet throughout the month. All women are invited! Contact Vivian Scott (321-632-8919) for information.

United Methodist Men
The men of our church are invited to come together every Saturday morning for a fellowship breakfast at Dixon Diner (1312 Dixon Blvd). All men are invited! Contact the church office for more information.

Music Ministry

  • Chancel Choir
    The Chancel Choir provides anthems and other special musical offerings for our 11:00 a.m. service. They practice on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. Our organist/choir director is Ada Cortner. All are welcome!
  • Bell Choir
    Our church has a wonderful bell choir that plays in worship on the second Sundays of each month and on special occasions. They practice Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. Since ringers are assigned to particular bells to play, it is necessary for you to contact the director, Fay Hammond, through our church office (321-636-4811).  Currently there are openings to join the bell choir!
  • Contemporary Praise Group
    Plans are being made to launch a new Contemporary Worship Service. Please contact our contemporary worship director, Chris Holbrook, through the church office for more information about this group as meeting times and locations do vary.
